IIM Bangalore Placements: With a total of 664 job offers, the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) successfully wrapped up its lateral and final placement season for the PGP and PGPBA Class of 2024–2026. 596 students actively participated in the process, indicating the strong demand for IIMB graduates in a cutthroat international market.
A significant highlight of this year’s placement cycle was the diversity of the hiring landscape; according to the institute’s official press release, 35 percent of the participating companies were new recruiters, signaling an expansion of the school's corporate network into emerging sectors.
With a commanding 45% of all bids, Management Consulting continued to hold the top spot in terms of sector-wise distribution. Investment banking came in at 11%, followed by employment in technology and product management at 15%. Industry titans spearheaded the hiring campaign, with Accenture leading the way with an astounding 101 offers.
Prestigious companies like the Boston Consulting Group (29), Bain & Company (23), and EY-Parthenon (23) were among the other top recruiters. Leaders in international finance and consulting, such as American Express, Kearney, and Tata Consultancy Services, continued to be prominent. This strong placement record highlights IIMB's standing as a top center for leadership potential, adeptly navigating changing economic trends to offer students top-tier employment prospects in both traditional and modern business domains
