GATE COAP 2026 Schedule Announced: Round 1 to Begin on May 11

Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) 2026 schedule has been released, detailing the complete timetable for candidates seeking admission to the M.Tech program and recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) based on GATE 2026 scores. The process will start with round 1 on May 11, 2026. 

COAP is a centralised platform used by IITs and participating PSUs to upload admission and job offers. Candidates must register on the portal to view and respond to these offers. However, applicants are required to apply separately to individual institutes or organisations, as COAP only facilitates offer acceptance.

GATE COAP 2026: Complete Schedule and Overview

The release of the GATE COAP 2026 schedule marks an important step in the admission process, helping the candidates plan their next move after the GATE results. Given below is the GATE COAP 2026 schedule:-

• COAP Registration Starts in March 2026

• Round 1 offer window starts on May 11-13, 2026

• Round 2 offer window starts on May 17-20, 2026

• Round 3 offer window starts on May 24-27, 2026

• Round 4 offer window starts on May 31- June 3, 2026

• Round 5 offer window starts on June 5- June 10, 2026

• Round 6 offer window starts on June 13-17, 2026

• Round 7 offer window starts on June 20-23, 2026

• Round 8 offer window starts on June 27 to July 1, 2026

• Round 9 offer window starts on July 3 to July 5, 2026

• Round 10 offer window starts on July 8 to July 10, 2026

Each round allows the candidates to choose options such as Accept and Freeze, Retain and Wait, or Reject and Wait, depending on their preferences and available offers. Candidates who qualified in GATE 2026 should actively monitor each round, as offers may change based on seat availability and other applicants’ decisions. Mission deadlines in any round may lead to losing an offer.
