CGBSE: The Class 12 Hindi test (code 010/810), which was first administered on March 14, 2026, has been formally declared invalid by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) due to reliable claims of a question paper leak. Reports on social media between March 15 and 16 that the paper had been widely shared before students entered the halls sparked the uproar immediately after the first assessment date. An official inquiry into the breach began when a formal complaint was submitted in response to these revelations.
On March 23, 2026, a high-level examination committee meeting decided to scrap the results. Following a thorough analysis of the facts, the committee came to the conclusion that the assessment's integrity had been seriously jeopardized. In order to guarantee that no student had an unfair advantage due to the leak, the board ruled the March 14 session "null and void" in order to prioritize academic fairness and transparency.
The board reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the integrity of the board exams in an official announcement, adding that a re-examination is required to safeguard the interests of all sincere applicants. The CGBSE has verified that the Hindi paper would be administered again, even though the original test has been canceled.
