CBSE Toppers 2026: 55368 Students Score 95% and Above in CBSE Class 10 Results, 2nd Boards in May

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10 Results 2026 for over 24.17 lakh students. While the board maintains its policy of not releasing an official toppers list, the data reveals stellar performances: 55,368 students scored 95% and above, while 2,21,574 students secured 90% and above. 

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE today announced the Class 10 Results 2026 for the examinations conducted in February and March. As many as 24.17 lakh students appeared in the board examinations. While CBSE does not release the official toppers list, as per the official notice, as many as 55,368 students have scored 95% and above marks in the recently released CBSE 10th Results 2026.

In addition, as many as 2,21,574 students have scored 90% and above. These are aggregate numbers. CBSE will be issuing a certificate of merit to the students who place in 0.1% of the subjects. No actual topper list will be released. 

Also, the board will conduct the second board examination in the month of May. The results declared right now are not the final results. CBSE will release the final results after the board examinations are conducted. 

CBSE 10th Results 2026: Region Wise Pass Percentage in Numbers

In other statistics shared, Kendriya Vidyalaya’s scored the best result pass percentage with 99.57% score followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas with pass percentage of 99.42%. In terms of regions, Trivandrum recorded the best result with a pass percentage of 99.79%. Delhi West region had a pass percentage of 97.45 while that of Delhi east was 97.33. Delhi, overall sits at 5th position in terms of performance.
