BSE Odisha 10th Result 2026 Expected to Released by 2nd Week of May; Check Official Statement

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in Odisha is going to announce the results for the Class 10 exams around the second week of May. This news comes from an official. The Class 10 exam, which is also called the matric exam, happened recently. It started on February 19 and finished on March 2, 2026. A huge no. of students appear for the test, more than 5.61 lakh students, to be exact. They took the exam at 3,082 different schools or centers all over Odisha state.

The head of the Board said they have already started checking the answer sheets for the multiple-choice questions (the OMR sheets). The papers with the long-answer questions will start being checked on March 19. Almost 15,000 teachers are helping with this big job. They will be checking all the exam papers at 51 different centers to make sure everyone gets their right score.

BSE President Srikant Tarai recently briefed the media, confirming that the Class 10 board exams in Odisha were conducted smoothly and without incident. He emphasized that there were no instances of paper leaks or major malpractices reported across any of the centers. Tarai acknowledged that a few minor issues were reported, but assured the public that these were rectified immediately, ensuring the overall integrity of the examination process.
