Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, UPPRPB, is all set to release the eagerly awaited UP Police Admit Card 2026 on its official website. This large recruitment drive has a goal to fill 32,679 vacancies across various positions, which include the following:-

  • Civil Police Constables
  • PAC/Armed Police
  • Jail Warders

With the city's intimation slip released today on the official website, the e-admit cards, which include details like the test venue details and specific guidelines, will be made available to the candidates three days before the exam date. This competitive state-level exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 8, 9 and 10, 2026. As per the official notification, the candidates will be able to download their respective admit cards from June 5. To accommodate the large number of registered candidates, the board will conduct the exam in two shifts: morning shift (10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon) and evening shift (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM).

UP Police 2026 Admit Card: Steps to Download UP Police Constable Admit Card

Once the board officially activates the admit card download window, the registered candidates can download their UP Police 2026 Admit Card by following the given steps:-

  • Go to the official website,i.e,. uppbpb.gov.in
  • You will be directed to the homepage. 
  • On the homepage, click on the link or the notification section, which will read as Download Admit Card for UP POlice Constable Direct Recruitment 2025-26.
  • Enter the required information, like the unique registration number and date of birth, in the login fields.
  • Once the information has been entered correctly, click on the submit button and view your admit card. 
  • Carefully check your photograph, signature and exam centre allocation details.
  • Download the PDF and take out at least 2 clear printouts to carry to the examination hall.

UP Police 2026 Admit Card: Exam Pattern and Important Dates

The selection process for the UP Police 2026 exam will start with an offline exam, which will feature 150 multiple-choice questions, with a total of 300 marks, and has to be completed within a strict 2-hour duration. The syllabus of the UP Police 2026 exam will test the candidate on General Knowledge, Numerical and Reasoning ability, and General Hindi. The competition for the state-level exam will be fierce as the board has to fill 32,679 positions. To qualify for the exam, the candidates need to be aware that the paper carries negative marking of 0.5 marks for every wrong answer. The best way to approach is to avoid blind guessing. If the candidate is confused with two incorrect answers, it is best to skip the question to protect your scores from negative marking.

The board has also introduced some important measures to ensure fair and transparent administration of the exam. The board has introduced biometric and other security measures to avoid any disqualifications at the exam centre gates. The candidates will have to go through the important e-KYC process at the exam centres.
