West Bengal Ministers List 2026: The newly formed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government has solidified its governance team following a historic shift in West Bengal elections 2026. On June 1, 2026, Governor R.N. Ravi administered the oath of office to 35 newly appointed BJP MLAs at the Lok Bhavan in Kolkata. This expansion follows the initial oath-taking ceremony on May 9, 2026, when Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and five primary leaders originally assumed office.

The total strength of the West Bengal Council of Ministers stands at 41, three seats short of the maximum permissible constitutional limit for the 294-member West Bengal Assembly.
