DRDO CEPTAM 11 Selection Process 2026 for Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B)
The DRDO CEPTAM selection process for STA-B has three stages. Tier I, Tier II, and Document Verification. Both tiers will be conducted in Computer-Based Test mode. It comprises objective-type questions. The medium of the exam will be Hindi and English. Each question carries 1 mark. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer in both Tier I and Tier II (Part II).
The Tier-I test is for screening, and the Tier-II test is for provisional selection. The minimum marks for Tier-I test and Part II of Tier II (Subject Specific Test) is 40% for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and 35% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. DRDO CEPTAM 11 Selection Process 2026 for Technician-A (TECH-A)
The DRDO CEPTAM selection process has 4 stages. This includes Tier I, Tier II, Trade Test, and Document Verification. The exam will be conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. The Tier-I and Tier-II stages comprise multiple-choice questions. Tier-I is for screening & Tier-II (Part-II) test is for Provisional shortlisting for trade test and preparing merit for provisional selection.
The minimum marks for Tier-I and Part II of Tier-II is 40% for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and 35% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. As per the marking scheme, 1 mark shall be awarded for every correct answer. A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable for each wrong answer in both Tier-I & Tier-II (Part II).
The Trade Test will be held after Tier-II. The trade test is conducted to assess the candidate’s practical skills and will be of ITI level in the related trade. The trade test will be qualifying in nature. It is compulsory to qualify in the Trade Test. The minimum qualifying marks is 50% for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
