Assam D.El.Ed. Admission 2026: State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has commenced the online application for the admission into 2 - Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course for the session 2026 – 2028. The course will be conducted in the NCTE recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIET/CTE/Normal
School/BITE/BTC/Pvt. TEIs) of the state for the academic session 2026-2028. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on or before June 10, 2026.
Selection will be done on the basis of performance of candidates in the written Date of Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2026 which is scheduled on July 12, 2026.

What Is The Selection Process FAssam D.El.Ed. Admission 2026?
The candidates applied for the 2 - Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) should note that they will have to appear in the Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2026 of 100 marks consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). District wise Merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in Pre-Entry Test (PET) by the candidates.
Certificate for proof of age. (Admit card or certificate of H.S.L.C./Class 10 examination)
Pass Certificate & Mark sheet of Higher Secondary (HS) [10+2]
Certificate of Caste (if any) from Competent Authority.
Document to prove that he/she is a permanent resident of Assam.
Person with Disability (PWD) & EWS certificate (if any) issued from the Competent Authority
All the selected candidates have to submit an undertaking to the principals of the concerned TEIs as given in the notification.
Assam D.El.Ed. Admit Card 2026 Release Date
Candidates appearing in the written exam scheduled to be held on July 12, 2026 will be able to download their SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET Admit Card from the website, https://scertpet.co.in. The hall ticket download link will be activated from 5th July 2026 onwards. Candidates can download their hall ticket after entering their login credentials including their Application Number and Date of Birth to the link.

- Scroll down, go to the Important Web-Links section on the home page.
- Click on the "Online Application Form" and follow the instructions by clicking "New Registration".
- Now click on "Online Application Form" Link and Login to make the rest steps.
- Now fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents as mentioned in the notification.
- Now pay the application fee and submit the form and take a print out of the same for future reference.
