TGBIE Extends First-Year Intermediate Admissions 2026 Phase II Till July 31; Reserves 33% Seats for Female Students
BIEAP has extended the Phase Two admission schedule for first-year intermediate courses till 31st July 2026. Check eligibility, admission process, required documents and female seat reservation details.
The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has extended the Phase II admission schedule for first year intermediate courses for the 2026-27 academic session till 31st July 2026. The extension provides another opportunity to the eligible students to ensure admission into junior colleges across the state. Along with the revised schedule, the board has also repeated that one-third of the total seats will be reserved for female students to promote participation of girls in Higher Secondary Education.
Students who are yet to complete the admission process are advised to visit their preferred junior colleges and submit the required documents before the revised deadline, i.e 31st July 2026. Colleges have also been instructed to follow a reservation policy and complete admissions in accordance with the guidelines issued by the board.
One-Third Seats Reserved for Female Students
As a part of the admission policy, 33% of the total seats are reserved for female students. The reservation aims to improve girls enrolment in intermediate education and encourage greater access to higher education opportunities across Andhra Pradesh. Colleges have been asked to strictly implement the reservation policy while filling available seats during the extended admission window.
