Rajasthan has earned a major place in the national school cleanliness and sustainability drive with 11 schools receiving the National Level Certificate of Merit under the Swachh Evam Harit Vidyalaya Rating (SHVR) 2025-26. The programme is run by the Union Ministry of Education and recognises schools that are setting strong standards in hygiene, sanitation and green practices. Rajasthan Ranks Third Nationally in SHVR
School education secretary Rajesh Yadav said Rajasthan secured the third position in the country in SHVR 2025. He said the achievement shows the steady work done by school leaders, teachers and students in making campuses cleaner, healthier and more environment friendly. The selected schools stood out for their efforts in sanitation, waste handling, water saving, energy use and greenery on campus.

The recognition has gone to the government, PM SHRI, Kendriya Vidyalaya and other senior secondary institutions from different districts of the state.
