NEET Re-Exam 2026: The National Testing Agency has taken to social media, warning parents and students regarding the fraudulent claims going on platforms like Telegram regarding the NEET Re-Exam 2026. The NEET Re-Examination is scheduled to be held this Sunday, June 21, 2026.

According to the post on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), NTA has called out ‘Çhannels on Telegram’ demanding ₹14,000 to ₹25,000, and some even ₹10 lakh, claiming to send the re-exam paper. The NTA has assured that such a case will not happen, and there is no leaked paper for the NEET Re-exam. NTA has stated that the money is gone the moment it is transferred. NTA further added that if sent, the admit card and WhatsApp number become the tools used to scam the next student.

NTA further mentioned ‘Fake Proof Videos’ showing chats from before the exam. NTA clarified the same as a trick run by scammers using the ‘Message edit’ feature on Telegram. As per the NTA, whoever runs the channel can edit any old message and change what is inside while the date on the message stays the same. If the message is edited on a particular date, it can look exactly like it was sent on its original date. NTA has warned that the same trick will be tried after June 21, 2026 and cautioned students and parents not to fall for it and not to forward it or pay anyone.

In the video, the professor explains how social media channels work, emphasising that the question paper for the re-examination is secure as per the measures taken by NTA to ensure that a paper leak does not happen. Prof. V. NEET 2026 Re-Exam on June 21

The National Testing Agency will be conducting the re-exam on June 21, 2026. Earlier, the exam was conducted on May 3, 2026, which was then cancelled a week later following claims of leaked exam paper.

This time, NTA has added an extra 15 minutes for candidates appearing for the exam. While earlier, the exam was conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM, now the exams will be conducted from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. Candidates appearing for their exam must also note that the admit cards have been issued on June 14, 2026. Students are advised to carry a copy of their NEET UG admit card along with a valid ID proof to be shown at the exam centre for verification. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam to avoid being late and complete the biometric verification at the centre.
