BSEB Crossword Competition 2026 Announced for Classes 9 to 12

The Bihar School Examination Board has announced the BSEB Crossword Competition 2026 for students studying in Classes 9 to 12. The competition is open to students of government and affiliated schools across Bihar. Registration for the event will start from 25 June 2026 and the last date to apply is 5 July 2026. The main purpose of this competition is to improve vocabulary, language skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability among students. Only those students who complete the registration process before the last date and meet the required eligibility rules will be allowed to take part in the competition. Competition Format Daily Puzzle Schedule and State Round Details

BSEB has planned the Crossword Competition 2026 to be held in two stages i.e district-level competition and state-level competition. Students who perform well in the district round will qualify for the state-level contest. The final state-level event will be held offline in Patna on 30 July 2026.

As part of the contest, the Bihar Board will release a new crossword puzzle every day at 4 PM. Students must solve and submit the puzzle within the next 24 hours. The board will prepare rankings on the basis of both accuracy and speed. Those students who answer the questions in the shortest time span will score better. As the registration process is completely free along with a clear selection process. The BSEB Crossword Competition 2026 gives students a good chance to test their language and reasoning skills while aiming for district and state level recognition.

Eligibility Criteria for BSEB Crossword Competition 2026 

• Participant must be a student of either class 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th

• Must be studying in school affiliated to Bihar Board 

• Students studying in both government and private school affiliated to BSEB 

• Candidates must successfully apply for the registration before the last date

• Students need to give correct academic and personal details during registration

• Only those students who have registered for the cross word test can appear in the competition stages

• Registration fee for BSEB Crossword is zero
