Jadavpur Unversity CSE Opening and Closing Rank: Open Category

In the table below, the CSE opening and closing rank from 2022 to 2025 shows a clear increase in the opening and closing ranks. In 2022, the admission to Jadavpur University for the CSE Branch was closed at rank 66, but in 2026 the candidates who had secured 202 were able to get admitted.

For the OBC - A category candidates, the closing rank between 2022 and 2024 remains less than 500 but in 2025 it has increased to 772. Candidates who have secured a rank in the range of 500 can consider this college, as a sudden increase might be an outlier and does not repeat. Jadavpur Unversity CSE Opening and Closing Rank: ST Category

The ST Category is the only category where JU CSE Closing rank has been decreased from the previous year. In 2024 the closing rank was 9548 whereas in 2025 it was decreased to 8256. Check the table below for Year wise OR-CR.

The above data shows that there is an uptrend in the closing for almost all categories and this year there might be a 10-15% increase in the closing rank of WBJEE Cutoff. So, if the rank of candidates falls in this category, then try to get engaged till subsequent rounds.
