BHU Admission 2026: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has started the registration process for admission to its undergraduate (UG) programmes such as BA, BSc, BCom for the 2026-2027 academic session. Students with a valid Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Undergraduate (UG) score are eligible to apply for admission through the official websites of the BHU - bhucuet.samarth.edu.in and admission.bhu.ac.in till July 25, 2026 (11:59 pm).
How To Apply For BHU UG Admission?
- Visit the official website of the BHU at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in .
- On the homepage, click on “New Registration” under the “Apply Now” section.
- Enter your CUET UG application and roll number, email address, full name, mobile number and date of birth.
- Then, click on the “Register” button.
Documents Required For Admission Process
Students will require the scanned copies of following documents:
- 10th Marksheet and Certificate
- 12th Marksheet and Certificate
- Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD, BHU Employee), if applicable
- Any other relevant supporting documents/Marksheets, If applicable
BHU UG Admissions: CAP-UG Start Date
The seat allotment process will take place via the Combined Allotment Program – Undergraduate 2026 (CAP-UG 2026), possibly within a week, according to BHU Central Education Committee. The university will release a separate notification detailing the CAP-UG 2026 schedule for the seat allocation and admission process into UG programmes. Candidates will be allotted seats based on their CUET UG score, candidate’s preferred score and availability of seats.

Students can apply for admission into several four-year UG programmes. The following courses are covered under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 curriculum.
