Agniveer Exam Date 2026: The Indian Army has released the Army Agniveer Exam Dates 2026 for the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) under the Agniveer recruitment scheme, along with the official notification. As per the details available on the official website, the Agniveer CEE 2026 is expected to be conducted from June 1 to June 15, 2026. The CEE exam will be conducted in online mode for various Agniveer posts, including General Duty (GD), Tradesman, Technical, Clerk/Store Keeper, and GD Women Military Police. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards before the exam and stay updated with the latest announcements regarding the recruitment process. Candidates who successfully complete the application process will be eligible to appear for the exam. The recruitment board is expected to release the Agniveer admit cards on May 15 on the official portal.

As per the notification, the Army Agniveer online test is scheduled to be conducted from June 1 to June 15, 2026. The Indian Army will release the final CEE schedule before the examination, which includes post-wise exam dates and shift timings. For now, the Army has announced the CEE dates along with the official notification, which will definitely help candidates plan their preparation effectively. 

Indian Army Agniveer Exam Pattern 

The Indian Army will conduct the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) in computer-based mode at various exam centres across the country. Candidates must download their admit cards and report to the exam centre mentioned on the hall ticket according to the given schedule.

The exam will contain multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Depending on the post applied for, candidates will have to attempt either 50 questions in 1 hour or 100 questions in 2 hours. The exam will also include negative marking, and 25% marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

The final scores will be normalised to ensure fairness across different exam shifts and difficulty levels.

Indian Army Agniveer Exam 2026

Candidates selected under the Agnipath scheme will get an in-hand salary of around ₹21,000 per month in the first year, and the salary will increase every year during the four-year service period. Along with the monthly salary, Agniveers will also receive a “Seva Nidhi” package of about ₹10.04 lakh after completing four years of service.

After the completion of the four-year tenure, up to 25% of Agniveers may be selected for permanent service in the Indian Army based on their performance and organisational requirements. Below is a table with the important details of the Agniveer scheme.
