The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has announced 1180 vacancies for the Assistant Teacher (Primary) post. The computer-based exam will be held from February 16 to March 8, 2026, in different shifts. Candidates planning to appear in this exam should download their admit card and check all the DSSSB PRT exam day guidelines. This helps them know the do’s and don’ts on the exam day. DSSSB PRT Shift Timing 2026
The DSSSB PRT exam will be held on 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 24th February, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th March 2026 in different shifts. Shift 1 will be held from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Shift 2 will be held from 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM, and Shift 3 will be held from 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM. DSSSB PRT Exam Day Guidelines 2026: Do’s & Don’ts
Candidates should stay updated with all the do’s and don’ts to avoid any last-minute surprises on the examination day. This ensures a smooth exam experience. Check the do’s and don’ts on the DSSSB PRT exam day:

| Don’ts | Do not carry any prohibited items to the exam centre. This includes Calculator, Laptop, Palmtop, Bluetooth devices, earbuds, camera, other Digital Instrument/ Mobile/ Cell phone, Pager/ electronic watches and any metallic items, etc. Do not carry a pen/ Pencil/Pencil Box with them as the Pen is being provided by the Board. DSSSB PRT Exam Day Guidelines 2026

The reporting time and exam time are mentioned in the admit card. No candidate will be permitted to enter the test centre after the reporting time is over.

It is mandatory to bring your admit card and I.D. proof (in original) to the test centre.

The Photo attendance Sheet will be given at the center and the same is to be handed over to the invigilator on the exam day after signing and affixing a thumb impression in the presence of the invigilator.

Candidates should not bring any prohibited items to the test centre. The following items are not allowed inside the exam centre:
(a) Any stationary item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/ Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen Scale, Writing Pad, Pen drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen /Scanner etc.
(b) Any communication device like a mobile phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
(c) Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, etc.
(d) All Ornaments like Ring, Earrings, Nose-pins, chains/ Necklace, Pendants, Badge, Brooch etc.
(e) Any Watch/ Wrist Watch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
(f) Any metallic item.
(g) Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle, etc.
(h) Any other item which could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like a camera, Bluetooth device etc.
(i) No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/items belonging to the candidates.
If a candidate is found with any such prohibited items inside the centre, it will be considered as the use of unfair means, and action will be taken against the candidate as per the relevant provisions.
