Eligibility Criteria for CSU Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

The qualifications vary significantly based on the level of the post the candidate is applying for.
MTS/Library Attendant: Candidates must have passed class 10th from a recognised university
LDC / Stenographer: Candidates must have passed 12th with a minimum typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi, which is mandatory.
Assistant / UDC / Section Officer: Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
For senior roles like Section Officer, prior experience in administrative levels (Level-4 or Level-6) is required.
Librarian Posts: A Master’s degree in Library Science (MLIS) with 55% marks and a qualifying NET/SLET are necessary.

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 30 - 40 years (varies as per post).
Relaxation: Relaxation in age will be given as per government norms. SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwBD candidates as per Government of India norms.
