To be eligible for the Punjab Staff Nurse position, candidates must fulfil the following educational and age-related requirements as of January 1, 2026.
Educational Qualification
Senior Secondary: Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised board.
Professional degree: The Candidate must possess a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or a B.Sc. in Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institute.
Registration: Mandatory registration with the Punjab Nursing Registration Council (PNRC).
Language Requirement: Candidates must have passed Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject in Matriculation (10th standard).
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 37 Years
