The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has extended the last date for WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling (DCAP) Phase 1 registration and choice filling. Candidates can now complete the registration process until September 9, 2026, at 6 PM. Earlier, the last date to register was September 8.
The decision has been taken after candidates reported technical difficulties while registering for the counselling process, including issues with receiving OTPs and submitting college and course choices. WBJEEB has also revised several dates of the decentralised counselling schedule.
Candidates participating in WBJEE DCAP 2026 Phase 1 counselling should complete their registration and choice-filling process within the extended deadline. The revised schedule has been published by WBJEEB on its official website.
WBJEE DCAP 2026 Phase 1 Registration: Revised Last Date
As per the revised schedule, WBJEE DCAP Phase 1 registration and choice filling, which started on September 7, will now remain open until September 9, 2026, at 6 PM. Candidates who have not yet completed the process should submit their details and choices before the deadline.
The extension follows reports from students who faced technical problems during the registration process. Several candidates reportedly experienced difficulties receiving OTPs and submitting their preferred colleges and courses.

WBJEE 2026 Seat Acceptance Fee
Candidates allotted seats during the counselling process will have to pay the prescribed seat acceptance fee of Rs 5,000to proceed with admission confirmation. The fee is refundable, subject to the applicable counselling rules.
The revised schedule gives candidates additional time to complete Phase 1 registration and choice filling. Students are advised to complete the process within the extended deadline to avoid missing the opportunity to participate in the current counselling phase.
