An image showing a re-NEET question paper is trending on social media platforms such as Telegram and X. It raised alarms regarding the possibility of another leakage of question papers before the June 21 re-NEET examination. PIB Fact Check has called the claim entirely baseless as there has been no question paper leak yet.

NTA & PIB on the Re-NEET Leak Allegations

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has termed the trending image as “all fake” and stated that it has already been informed to cybercrime units. In their standpoints, NTA and PIB have reiterated that all these leaks are fake news since “content like this is made up by organised cheating rackets to extort money.”

However, even after the official stance clarifying the issue, the reaction of the netizens could be understood by the frustrations that they have. The uproar caused by the NEET-UG 2024 paper leaks culminating into the cancellation of the exam scheduled to take place on May 3rd has made aspirants lose faith in the NTA. Many of the aspirants doubt the integrity of NTA, asking where the promises were when the first leak occurred.

Students are advised not to indulge in any rumors being circulated online about the availability of the leaked papers or early access. Only the official news released by the NTA is reliable and should be taken as an authentic update regarding NEET-UG 2024.
