NDA 1 Exam 2026: All the candidates who are going to appear for the NDA 1 exam 2026 must understand that the exam is very competitive in nature and those who are preparing for the upcoming exam, which is scheduled to be conducted on 12 April 2026 must know the exam day guidelines and the do’s and don’ts which the candidates must follow and keep in mind to avoid any hassles.
What Documents to Carry on NDA 1 Exam Day 2026?
The candidates appearing for the NDA 1 exam 2026 must remember that they must carry certain documents with them, otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. These documents are:

Printout of e-admit card.

Photo Identity card such as aadhaar, driving license, PAN card,etc.

Carry 2 passport-size photographs in case of any discrepancy in the admit card.
NDA 1 Exam Day Guidelines 2026
There are some rules and guidelines that every candidate should follow on the exam day.

The candidates must bring the printout of their e-admit cards to the examination hall.

Unfair means strictly prohibited: No candidate shall copy from the papers of any other candidate nor permit his/her papers to be copied nor give nor attempt to give nor obtain nor attempt to obtain irregular assistance of any description.

Conduct in Examination Hall: No candidate should misbehave in any manner or create disorderly scenes in the Examination Hall or harass the staff employed by the Commission for the conduct of the examination. Any such misconduct will be severely penalised.

Articles permitted inside Examination Hall: Clip board or hard board (on which nothing is written) a good quality Black Ball Pen for marking responses on the Answer Sheet. Answer Sheet and sheet for rough work will be supplied by the invigilator.
NDA 1 Exam 2026: Do’s and Don’ts
DO’S

Write with Black ball pen your Centre and subject followed by test booklet series (in bracket), subject code and roll number at the appropriate space.

Immediately after commencement of the examination please check that the test booklet supplied to you does not have any unprinted or torn or missing pages or items etc., if so, get it replaced by a complete test booklet of the same series and subject.

In the ‘OBJECTIVE TYPE’ of examination, you have to choose one response to each item. The question paper will be in the form of a TEST BOOKLET.
DON’TS

Do not write your name or anything other than the specific items of information asked for, on the answer sheet/test booklet/sheet for rough work.

Do not fold or mutilate or damage or put any extraneous marking in the Answer Sheet. Do not write anything on the reverse of the answer sheet.

Do not bring into the Examination Hall any article such as ny valuable/costly items, mobile phones, Smart/Digital watches other IT Gadgets, books, bag, notes, loose sheets, electronic or any other type of calculators, mathematical and drawing instruments, Log Tables, stencils of maps, slide rules, Test Booklets and rough sheets.
