KEAM 2026: As per the official notification, the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, CEE, Kerala, has introduced a special provision for KEAM 2026 candidates, allowing them to change their allotted exam centres. Any changes to the engineering and pharmacy entrance examination centres in Gulf countries will be available on the CEE’s website, www.cee.kerala.gov.in, from April 4 to April 7, 2026, at 1 PM.
The decision has been taken in view of the ongoing geopolitical tensions in parts of the Middle East, which have disrupted travel plans for many students. Candidates who had initially selected Gulf exam centres, particularly in the UAE, are among those affected. To address this, authorities have enabled a one-time correction window, allowing students to switch their test centres to more accessible locations.
This includes the option to choose centres within Kerala or in other Gulf countries, where travel is feasible. The KEAM, Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical, Entrance exam is an important gateway for admissions to engineering and allied courses in the state. Ensuring that all registered candidates can appear for the exam has been a priority for the authorities.
KEAM 2026: Centre Change Facility for KEAM Candidates
As part of the latest update, candidates must log in to the official CEE Kerala portal and select their preferred exam centre within the stipulated timeline. The facility is available only once, and no further requests will be entertained after the deadline. Alongside this, the release of KEAM 2026 admit cards has been rescheduled. Hall tickets will now be available for download from April 8 2026, giving candidates sufficient time to plan their travel accordingly.
This move reflects a student-centric approach by Kerala authorities, ensuring minimal disruption to the examination process amid global uncertainties.
