GATE 2026 Answer Key Challenge 2026:The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has opened the GATE 2026 answer key objection window. Candidates who have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can check the provisional answer key and submit challenges through the official GOAPS Portal. 

According to the notification available on the official website, the GATE 2026 answer key challenge window is open until February 28, 2026. Candidates can submit their objections along with supporting documents and the requisite fee within the given deadline. Officials have also notified that provisional candidates are not allowed to contest the answer key however they can see their responses on the GATE Portal.Check official notification here

Challenges/Contests on Questions/Keys are available on GOAPS Portal from February 25 - February 28, 2026 (Instructions). Provisional candidates are not allowed for the contest, however they can see their responses in the GOAPS Portal

Steps to Challenge GATE 2026 Answer Key

The GATE 2026 provisional answer key along with response sheets and master question paper was released on February 22, 2026. Candidates can now submit the challenges on the ansr key through the GOAPS portal. Check the steps below

Step 1: Visit the official website of GATE 2026

Step 2: Click on GATE 2026 GOAPS Portal

Step 3: Login with the enrollment id and password

Step 4: Click on the GATE answer key challenge link

Step 5: Select the question and answer ID

Step 6: Click on the the challenge link

Step 7: Upload necessary documents

Step 8: Submit the requisite fee

GATE 2026 Result Date

The GATE 2026 result date has been issued by officials. According to the schedule provided, the GTE 2026 result will be announced on March 19, 2026. Students whi have appeared for the exams will be able to check the result through the link available on the official website. To check the results candidates must visit the GOAPS portal and login with the enrollment id and password.
