She started with banking & worked for many institutions, including Citibank & Bank of America.
After working at AES Corp for more than 10 years (in Senior Finance, Strategy & Ops roles Around the Globe), she joined Schneider Electric, which leads the world in Energy Management & Automation, in 2017.
She quickly moved up the ranks & became EVP & Group CFO at Schneider Electric in early 2020.
At Schneider Electric, she was instrumental in transforming the company into an Energy & Tech driven organization & developing the integration of Sustainability & Finance.
Appointment as CFO for Oracle
In April of 2026, Oracle Corporation appointed Hilary Maxson as the new CFO, thereby changing the direction of the leadership at Oracle.
Hilary Maxson took over a position that has not been a traditional CFO for Oracle, but rather has been filled by several senior level executive team members over the last several, without a permanent CFO.
