India have registered a comfortable 7 wicket win over Pakistan in the Group A clash of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 on Saturday, September 5.

On a tricky surface at the Dubai International Stadium, Harmanpreet Kaur-led side delivered a clinical bowling performance that completely dismantled oppositions batting lineup.

As a result, Pakistan registered their lowest-ever T20I total, getting bowled out for just 55 runs. With the win, India have also maintained their dominant record over Pakistan in Women’s T20Is.

India vs Pakistan Women's Asia Cup 2026: Key Highlights

First Innings

Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Their openers Muneeba Ali and Shawaal Zulfiqar gave the side a stable start with a 27 run opening partnership. But after that, things went horribly wrong for Pakistan as none of the batters were able to touch the double digit mark. The wickets started falling at regular intervals with no partnership whatsoever, as Pakistan bowled out for just 55 runs in a disappointing batting performance.

Meanwhile for India, it was a brilliant bowling effort, with Shree Charani and Prema Rawat getting three wickets each. Deepti Sharma also picked up two wickets while Shafali Verma got one in a memorable bowling performance.

India will march into the semi-finals with an unbeaten league stage after comfortable wins over Pakistan, Thailand and Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, Pakistan, despite losing the recent game still have a fair chance of making it to the final four with their last game scheduled against Hong Kong and a much better net run rate than them. So, it is going to be easy for Pakistan to make it to the semi finals.
