The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has reopened the registration window for the CGL 2026 exam for two additional days, ending on June 25, 2026. Before the registration dates were revised, around 28 lakh candidates registered to appear for the exam, which is to be conducted in August or September 2026.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had closed its application registration process on June 22, 2026. During this time, 28 lakh candidates registered themselves for the SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) Exam 2026. The exam is expected to be conducted in August or September 2026. The Commission received a number of requests from interested candidates who were unable to submit their application within the allotted time due to various reasons.
Taking in the various requests of the candidates, the Commission has decided to reopen the registration window for the submission of the online applications for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam 2026. The registration window will be open for only 2 days, which is June 23, 2026 (11:00 PM) to June 25, 2026 (11:00 PM). The last date for the submission of the application will now be June 25, 2026. The candidates who want to submit their application online can make their fee payment till June 26, 2026 (11:00 PM) at the official website.

SSC CGL 2026 Number of Vacancies and Salary
The Commission released the notification for the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam 2026 on May 21, 2026. The Tier I exam is expected to be conducted in August or September 2026, and the Tier II exam is expected to be conducted in December 2026.
