SGPGI Nursing Exam 2026: The Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, is organizing the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the Nursing Officer and other Group B, C, and D posts from 19 to 25 June 2026. As a total of 1200 vacancies have been announced by the institute, there are many aspirants who will be sitting in the exam across several cities. Given the fact that many aspirants will be writing this exam, SGPGIMS has decided to conduct the exam in multiple shifts on each day. Candidates who haven't download their Nursing Exam Admit card can still download from the official website of SGPGI

SGPGI Nursing Exam Schedule 2026

SGPGIMS has organized the Recruitment Examination 2026 in CBT mode. According to the official notification, the test will be held from 19th June 2026 to 25th June 2026, depending on the cities and posts allotted to the candidates in accordance with their test centers. Candidates who are appearing in the nursing exam can check the table below for the  post-wise exam dates as follows:

SGPGI Nursing Exam Day Guidelines 

The SGPGI Nursing aspirants must adhere to all given instructions on the exam day. It is mandatory for all aspirants, and those who fail to adhere to these instructions will result in disqualification from the examination process.

  • Aspirants have to bring their SGPGI Nursing Admit Card (Printed Copy) to the exam centre.

  • An ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving Licence, or Passport needs to be brought along.

  • Aspirants must reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

  • The entrance to the exam hall will be closed strictly 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

  • Aspirants cannot be allowed to enter the exam centre once the entrance gates are closed.

  • Two recent passport-sized photos need to be brought as these might be required during the exam.

  • Mobile Phones/Smart Watches/Bluetooth Devices/Electronic Gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the hall.

  • No calculators, log books, or any other study materials are permitted in the exam hall.

  • Students should not resort to any unfair practices in the exam hall.

  • Students caught resorting to unfair means will immediately be disqualified from the exam and may face legal consequences.

  • Students should report to the exam center in good time to avoid last-minute stress
