SBI PO Recruitment 2026: The State Bank of India on June 18, 2026 has released the SBI PO Exam 2026 notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officer posts across the country. Under the recruitment drive, a total of 1500 posts are to be filled in different SBI branches across the country. In the year 2025, SBI had released notification for 541 Probationary officer posts and 600 in the 2024, thus this year 1500 vacancies are a better opportunity for the banking aspirants. Candidates can apply online for these posts on or before July 08, 2026.

What is the Selection Process For SBI PO Notification 2026?
The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-Phase process:
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section)
PHASE-II: Mains Examination:
The Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective tests for 200 marks and
Descriptive test for 30 marks. The Descriptive test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive test answers on the computer.
PHASE-III: Psychometric Test/Group Exercise and Personal Interview
