To summarise the table, it represents the JoSAA 2026 Round 1 cutoffs offering a competitive admission and seat allotment process for NITs across the country. Top-tier institutes like NIT Trichy, Surathkal, and Warangal are offering highly competitive seats for Electronics and Communication Engineering. However, the closing rank also gets past 40,000 for several established NITs, allowing candidates under this range to still get into NITs for ECE seats.

Candidates who have secured a seat, or received allocation in Round 1, can strategically plan their choice filling preference. Freeze your seat only when you are sure of your option. Further opting for Float or Slide helps you open your chances for potential branch or college upgrades in the upcoming rounds without losing your current backup.
