RRB Group D Result 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) was expected to release the RRB Group D Result 2026 for the Level-1 posts (CEN 08/2024). However, the announcement has hit a legal roadblock. The Telangana High Court has issued an interim stay on the release of the RRB Group D CBT results after a petition filed by Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAs).
The court's intervention centers around the transparency of the revised marking criteria and the role of the Directorate General of Training (DGT). Candidates who appeared for the exams conducted between November 27, 2025, and February 10, 2026, are now closely watching the legal proceedings, as the next hearing is scheduled for April 15, 2026.

RRB Group D Result 2026 Telangana High Court Hearing Latest Updates

The primary concern for over 1.2 crore applicants is the status of the stay order. In the latest proceeding (Writ Petition No. 789/2026), the Telangana High Court directed the Ministry of Railways to halt the result processing until the grievances of the apprentice candidates are addressed.
The petitioners have challenged the 2022 policy shift that altered the weightage of practical marks and the exemption rules for NCVT/ITI holders. Until the court clarifies whether the DGT has the authority to influence these recruitment norms, the RRB Group D Result 2026 remains on hold.
