Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC 2026: The Ladki Bahin Yojana was launched on 28 June, 2024 by the Maharashtra Government as “Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin” scheme with an aim to provide financial assistance to the women of Maharashtra aged between 21 and 65 years with an annual family income of equal to or less than ₹2.5 lakh. To avail the benefits, the women are required to complete the eKYC process. The Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC 2026 deadline has been extended now to 30th April 2026. Previously the eKYC deadline was set to be 31st December 2025, which was extended to 31st March 2026.

The Minister for Women and Child Development, GOM, Aditi S Tatkare, has posted on X, formerly Twitter, announcing the extension of the last date to complete the eKYC process for Ladki Bahin Yojana. The Minister has said that the deadline to complete the eKYC process has been extended to 30th April 2026.

What are the Reasons to Extend the eKYC Deadline?
As per the tweet from the Minister, “Beneficiaries of the 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin' scheme were initially granted a deadline until March 31 to complete their e-KYC updates. However, in light of the crisis caused by unseasonal rains and hailstorms across the state, and in response to requests received from the 'beloved sisters' within the state, the deadline for e-KYC corrections has been extended until April 30, 2026.”

How to Complete the eKYC Process for Ladki Bahin Yojana?
The beneficiaries must complete their eKYC process before the deadline to continue availing the benefits under the scheme. Those who do not complete the eKYC process will be disqualified from the benefits. You can complete the eKYC through the following methods.

Narishakti Doot App: Download the Narishakti Doot App and log in with your mobile number. Go to the 'applied applications' section and look for a notification indicating 'pending e-KYC'. If the pending e-KYC displays a red flag, select the 'Update e-KYC' option.

Official Portal: Visit the official website ladkibahin.maharashtra.gov.in to link your Aadhaar using OTP authentication.

Official Centres: If you are unable to complete the eKYC process through online mode, then visit your nearest Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra or Gram Panchayat office for biometric verification.

To prevent any issues with payments, confirm that your bank account is linked to your Aadhaar.
