Detailed Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Standards
The PMT is the first phase of the physical examination. Candidates must meet the prescribed height and chest measurements to qualify for the next round. Candidates can check the details below
For Male Candidates:
General Category: Height must be at least 170 cm. Chest measurement should be 83 cm (unexpanded) with a minimum expansion of 4 cm (reaching 87 cm).
Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): A relaxation is provided, with a minimum height requirement of 168 cm and chest of 81–85 cm.
For Female Candidates:
General Category: Minimum height of 158 cm.
Reserved Categories: Minimum height of 156 cm. (Note: There are no chest measurement requirements for female candidates).
Physical Screening Test (PST) Requirements
Candidates who will clear the PMT will immediately proceed to the PST, a test of endurance through a timed race. This stage is qualifying in nature, meaning no marks will be added to the final merit, but passing is mandatory. Candidates can check the details below
