With thousands of aspirants who were to appear for the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test for the Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2026, the Delhi Police Recruitment Cell released an official notice postponing the PE &MT 2026 for the Delhi Police Constable (Executive) Exam 2025-26. The Physical Endurance and Measurement Test 2026 was to be conducted on August 24 and 25, 2026, but has been postponed due to bad weather conditions in the National Capital Region (NCR). The official notice also states that the new dates for the postponed PE and MT Exam 226 will be notified later. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of the Delhi Police for further updates updated related to the recruitment exam. The notice has also specifically stated that there are no changes in the remaining schedule of the PE &MT Exam 2026 for Delhi Police Constable 2026.
Official Notice and New PE &MT Dates for Delhi Police Constable 2026
The Physical Endurance and Measurement Test, which is the second stage of the selection process for the Delhi Police Constable (Executive) Recruitment 2026, has been postponed by official authorities. While the physical testing for the recruitment exam started in mid-August across dedicated grounds in Delhi, due to unforeseen monsoon and severe weather conditions, the field tracks have been disrupted, in turn postponing the exam to August 24 and 25, 2026.

- In a previous notice from the Delhi Police, released on August 22, 2026, the PE&MT exam was also postponed due to heavy rains and will now be conducted on September 10, 2026.

Important Documents To Carry for PE &MT for Delhi Police Recruitment 2026
Those candidates who will be appearing for the Physical and Endurance Test for the Delhi Police Constable (Executive) Exam 2026 should carry the following important documents with them:-
- The printout of the admit card issued for the Physical Test.
- Original and Valid ID proof ( Aadhaar Card, PAN, Driving Licence, etc.)
- Class 10th and 12th marksheets and certificates, along with category certificates if applicable.
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
While the postponement of the exam may be a disappointment, it also gives candidates extra time to prepare themselves better for the exam.
