Admission to Banaras Hindu University's undergraduate programs will start soon. The admission and seat allotment process will be based on CUET 2026 scores through the central counseling allocation system. During the first round of the admission round, the seats are allocated on the main campus of the university, and in later rounds, students get seat allotments in affiliated colleges of the university. After the first round of admission, students can seek admission to D.A.V. Post Graduate College (DAVPGC), Varanasi. 

The college offers a flexible entry to students as compared to the Faculty Main Campus (FMC), still offers a competitive admission process. To secure a regular seat, B.Com (Hons.) students have to score close to the 485 to 500+ mark (general category). However, B.A. (Hons.) Humanities and Social Sciences combinations offer strict competition, with a 250 to 310 score as a qualifying mark for 2026 admission.
