Today, on Monday, March 9, 2026, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) conducted the Class 12 Chemistry exam. The exam was held during the afternoon shift, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, throughout the state. The AHSEC Class 12 Chemistry paper, like other core science courses, is assessed for 100 Marks, in which 70 marks is allotted for theoretical and 30 Marks for practical assessments.
The theoretical paper was divided into four sections with a total of 16 questions, including objective-type questions, very short answers, short answers, and long-answer descriptive questions.
