Allahabad High Court Private Secretary Exam Pattern for Stage II

Candidates found successful in Stage I will be shortlisted for Stage II, i.e.  Shorthand Dictation Test. A Dictation of a passage in English of 500 words (approximately) in 05 minutes will be given. Aspirants will take down the dictation in Shorthand and then will transcribe the same on a computer within 30 minutes. It is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) module. The maximum marks shall be 200. The exam duration will be 5 minutes for dictation & 30 minutes for transcription. The minimum qualifying marks will be 160.

Part B is the Computer Knowledge Test in Stage I of the Allahabad High Court PS selection process. Candidates will receive a copy of part of the judgment (approximately 500 words) in English. They will have to reproduce the same on the computer in the same format within 15 minutes. The maximum marks shall be 100, and the test duration will be 15 minutes. The minimum qualifying marks will be 50.

Allahabad High Court Private Secretary Syllabus for Subjective Type Translation Test (Part C)

Part C is the Subjective Type Translation Test in Stage I of the Allahabad High Court PS selection process. It is a computer-based test module (CBT). Translation of a passage of approximately 250 words given in Shorthand to English on a computer (From Sir Issac Pitman’s Book). It will be a Subjective Type Test. The maximum marks will be 100, and the test duration will be 15 minutes. The minimum qualifying marks will be 50.
