- Students in UP Board Class 10 who have failed one subject may take the compartment test. One compartment test is all that is available to those who have failed two subjects.
- UP Board Class 12 Students: Students may apply for the compartment test if they have failed one subject in any of the following streams: Humanities, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, or Vocational.
