Candidates can follow the process below to check the final seat allotment for NEET UG 2026:

• Go to MCC official website
• Login through the candidate portal using NEET registration number and password
• Click on the 'Final Seat Allotment' link
• Download and check your rank and allotted college. 

No, it is not mandatory for the candidates to join the allotted college after Round 1 counselling, as they have the option of free exit and float. They can wait for the seat upgrade in Round 2 or resign the seat completely.

This year, the complete MCC NEET UG counselling process has been moved to online mode. Following changes are made: 

Freeze Candidates: Candidates who do not seek seat upgradation have to visit the college to confirm their seats and pay the admission fee.

Float: Candidates who have been allotted seat but wish to upgrade in next round can choose the float option. 

If no seat is allotted, candidate will become eligible to participate in next round (as per criteria)

After the window for candidates to submit grievances on the provisional allotment result for the first round of NEET UG counselling 2026 closes, the final allotment result will be made available online. Candidates need to keep all relevant documents ready with them when reporting to the allotted colleges for admission. Reporting to colleges begins from August 22, 2026 to August 31, 2026

The NEET UG counselling 2026 round 1 provisional allotment result has been released online. Candidates who have submitted their applications can download the allotment letter through the login link available on the official website. Students are required to check their allotment status and download the allotment letter through their login. 

Students who have grievances with regard to the first allotment list released can visit the official grievance portal on the counselling website and submit the grievances by today, August 21, 2026. Based on this the final round 1 allotment result will be announced.

The documents will be verified at the allotted institute. If the candidate fails to report to the allotted institute within the stipulated timeframe, the seat will be cancelled.
•  If the candidate has selected Willingness for Upgradation as Float, the candidate will participate in the next round of counselling. The candidate must contact the Nodal Officer (as given in the Provisional Allotment Letter) and get the document verified online. The candidate doesn’t have to visit the allotted institute in this case.

To download the provisional allotment letter students are required to follow the steps provided below

Visit the official counselling portal

Login using the application number and password

Review the seat allotment details and click on Download Provisional Allotment Letter. Candidates are required to verify the allotment details, including Institute Name, Program Name, Rank, Allotment Category, Allotment Quota and Nodal Officer details and save the Provisional Allotment Letter from the preview

Candidates reporting to the allotted institutions must have the following documents with them for admission

• NEET UG 2026 Scorecard / Rank Letter
• Provisional Allotment Letter
• Class 10 Certificate & Marksheet

After the window for students to submit grievances closes, the final allotment result will be published. Based on this allotment result, students can report to the allotted colleges for the admission and fee payment process. Candidates must carry all relevant documents with them along with photocopies for the verification and admission process. According to the notification issued, the provisional result is only indicative in nature and subject to change. The candidates cannot claim any right over the allotted seat in the provisional result and the provisional result cannot be challenged before the Court of Law.
