Kerala Board Exams 2026: In a latest press conference, broadcasted live on Facebook on Monday, March 2, 2026, of the Kerala Education Minister, V. Sivankutty, announced the Kerala Board exam results are expected to be announced by May 22, 2026. He also mentioned that the exams held at gulf centres will be postponed.
The following exams in the West Asia region have been postponed till further notice, including SSLC exams scheduled for March 5, while the HSE exams scheduled for March 5, 6, and 7, 2026. The revised exam dates will be announced later until the conflict resolves.
Students who would not be able to reach the examination centres should immediately submit an application to the Director of General Education through their head teacher/principal without delay. The General Education department would take a favourable decision on the basis of the merit of the application, the Minister said.
He also shared the statistics for Kerala HSE 1st year students, with a total of 401125 students appearing for the exams, out of which, 341222 will sit for Improvement exams. For Kerala HSE 2nd year exams, a total of 452437 students will appear. The HSE exams 2026 evaluations will begin at 89 evaluation centres on April 6, 2026.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) postponed the Class 10 and 12 board exams, scheduled for March 2, in the West Asia region. They will review the situation for exams scheduled from March 5 onwards.
