Iran-Israel Conflict, Exams Postponed: The Central Board of Secondary Education on Sunday postponed the CBSE Board Class 10 and Class 12 exams scheduled for today, March 2, 2026, in the Middle East region. The exams have been postponed owing to the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict affecting the Middle East region.
The Board has confirmed the postponement of the CBSE 10th and 12th exams scheduled for March 2, 2026 (Monday) in the Middle-Eastern regions of Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
It must be noted, however, that the CBSE is not the only board which has centres in the Guld for annual board exams. CISCE also conducts exams for class 10 and class 12 students. The centres for the CISCE exams are primarily concentrated in Dubai and Sharjah, UAE.
Kerala State Board conducts the annual class 10 and class 12 exams in the Middle East. The Kerala board SSLC examination centres in the UAE are at recognised Indian schools that follow the Kerala state syllabus. Some of these include New Indian School in Ras Al-Khaimah and schools in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain. Approximately 9 schools operate as centres for the Class 10 Kerala board exams in the UAE.
Class 10, Class 12 Board Exams Postponed
Major postponement of Class 10 and Class 12 board exams was announced by the CBSE. The board has issued a notification clarifying that the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams scheduled to be held today, March 2, 2026 has been postponed. The reised scheduled for the postponed exams will be confirmed by the board soon. A decision regarding the examination on March 3 will be taken by the board shortly.
