4) Charan Singh

Charan Singh was Prime Minister of India for a short time between 1979 and 1980. As a champion of farmers and rural areas, he worked to create agrarian reform and support agricultural development among rural Indians.

 Although his time in office was brief, Charan Singh's policies emphasized the importance of agriculture in the Indian economy.

5) V. P. Singh 

V. P. Singh served as the Prime Minister of India from 1989 to 1990. V. P. Singh is well-known for enacting the recommendations of the Mandal Commission concerning the provision of reservations for backward classes and combatting corruption in his administration.

Singh's leadership instigated numerous social reform initiatives and greatly changed the socio-political climate of India despite only being Prime Minister for approximately 1 year.
