Union Budget 2026 is the first budget that has been prepared in Kartavya Bhawan. Hence, it is inspired by three kartavyas:
i. The first kartavya is to speed up economic growth by boosting productivity and competitiveness and also develop resilience to volatile global dynamics.
ii. The second kartavya is to fulfill the aspirations of the people by boosting skill development, employability, and capacity building.
iii. The third kartavya is 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas' to ensure that every family, community, region, and sector has access to resources, amenities, and opportunities.
