2. Jhulaghat suspension bridge connects India with Myanmar.

3. Mechi bridge and its approaches connect the Panitanki Bypass in India with Kakarvitta in Nepal.

Which of the statements given above is/are correct?

(a) 1 and 2

(b) 2 and 3

(c) 1 only

(d) 3 only

Answer: (d) 3 only

Explanation: Statement 1 is incorrect. The Maitri Setu is built over the Feni river, however, the endpoints in the statement are swapped. The Maitri Setu connects Sabroom in India (Tripura) with Ramgarh in Bangladesh, not the other way around.

Statement 2 is incorrect. The Jhulaghat suspension bridge crosses the Mahakali river to connect India with Nepal, not Myanmar.
