India May Drive 50% of Global Oil Demand Growth by 2035, Says Rosneft CEO: Here’s Why

India may be responsible for being the major driving force behind the demand for oil around the world during the next ten years. 

According to Igor Sechin, the Chief Executive Officer of Rosneft, India can be considered responsible for more than 50% of global oil demand increases by 2035.

This forecast emphasizes India's rapidly growing economy, rapid urbanization, and increased energy consumption in the country.
