Agentic AI Skilling Program: How the NIELIT and Intel India Initiative Will Train 1 Crore Youth

Artificial Intelligence is transforming rapidlyfrom simple messaging systems to independent issue solvers. The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has collaborated with Intel India. To make sure that young people and students are keeping up with the change.

This initiative was announced during a National Leadership Dialogue in New Delhi, aiming to train 1 crore young people in advanced artificial intelligence. This program is focused on Agentic AI, which can think, plan  and perform complex tasks without much societal interference.

What is Agentic AI and What is its Significance to Students?

Agentic AI functions independently in pursuit of definite goals. This means that agents are capable of browsing the web, writing and testing code and working with other digital tools.

Core Structure of the Skilling Initiative

The initiative rolls out two specialized programs Customised to different skill levels and career aspirations:

The initiative ties together different government ministries and technologists to train workforce and reduce man power shortage

Training will be imparted through NIELIT’s various centers and institutes along with virtual learning through NIELIT Virtual Academy. 

Learning through Experience: Students get an opportunity to learn and work on modern technology before completing their studies.
