The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results for the SSC GD 2025 exam, conducted from February 4 to 25. Over 25.21 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 3,91,599 candidates have qualified. Aspirants can check their marks and download their scorecards from the official website using their registration number and password. Shortlisted candidates will now be eligible to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). What’s Next After SSC GD Constable Result 2025?
The selection process for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau Examination 2025 comprises three stages: a written examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and a medical examination. Candidates who have secured marks above the SSC GD cut off in the CBT exam will now be called for the physical test, which will be conducted soon.
SSC GD PET (Physical Efficiency Test) – Running Requirements
As per the SSC GD result, around 3.91 lakh candidates have qualified for the physical test. Of these, 3,51,552 are male and 40,047 are female candidates. This national-level examination is being conducted to fill 53,690 vacancies for Constable (General Duty) posts in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, SSF, and NCB. The SSC GD physical test requirements differ for male and female candidates. Male candidates must complete a 1.6 km run in 8.5 minutes, while female candidates are required to cover 5 km in 24 minutes.

SSC GD PST (Physical Standard Test) – Height, Chest, and Weight Criteria
The SSC GD Physical Exam is the second stage of the selection process, comprising two parts: the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST). Through this stage, the Commission assesses whether candidates possess the physical fitness and standards required to meet the demands of the job.
SSC GD Height for Male
As per the SSC GD Physical standards, the required height for male candidates is 170 cm, and the chest measurement should be 80 cm (unexpanded) with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
