Paper 2 consists of questions from the subject chosen by the candidate during registration. Since it carries 150 marks, Paper 2 has a significant impact on the final score and qualifying status. Candidates should focus on revising their subject syllabus thoroughly.

Paper 1 is common for all candidates regardless of their subject. It is designed to check the general awareness of the candidate. The paper consists of 100 questions on General Awareness & General Studies.

The RPSC 2nd Grade 2026 examination will be conducted in OMR (Pen and Paper) mode. Candidates have to mark their answers on a provided Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet. Use a black ball pen only to mark the answers on the OMR sheet.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has received approx 12.64 lakh applications for 6,500 posts (which increased to 10537 later) of Senior Teacher in various disciplines. The highest number of applications were received for the subjects of SST and Hindi. Check the table below for details related to other subjects.

The RPSC has announced a total of 6500 vacancies under the official notification, and later the commission added 4,037 vacancies to these 6500, which became 10,537 vacancies. The increase in vacancies provides a good opportunity for the candidates to get selected. 

The RPSC has announced a total of 10537 vacancies for 10 subjects, which include Social Science, Hindi, Science, Sanskrit, Mathematics, English, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Gujarati. 

The RPSC 2nd Grade exam will be conducted for 10537 posts of Senior Teacher from 12 July to 18 July 2026 for the following 10 subjects:

• Social Science
• Hindi
• Science
• Sanskrit
• Mathematics
• English
• Urdu
• Punjabi
• Sindhi
• Gujarati

RPSC has already released the RPSC 2nd Grade City Intimation Slip on July 4, 2026. The city slip only informs candidates about the city where their exam centre is located. The RPSC 2nd Grade admit card will provide complete information, including the exact exam centre address, reporting time and important instructions.

After downloading the RPSC 2nd Grade admit card, candidates should carefully verify their exam date, shift timing, reporting time, and examination centre details. In case of any error or mismatch, they should contact the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) as soon as possible to avoid issues on exam day.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the RPSC 2nd Grade Admit Card for the Senior Teacher post on its official website i.e., rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. This is the only official website of RPSC to release the RPSC 2nd Grade admit card. RPSC does not release the admit card on other websites.

To download the RPSC 2nd Grade admit card, candidates will need the following details. Candidates should keep these details ready.

• Registration Number
• Password/Date of Birth
• SOS ID
• Security Code (if applicable)

The RPSC 2nd Grade 2026 examination will be conducted from 12 July to 18 July 2026. Candidates should use the remaining time for revision and understand the exam-day guidelines.
