The Reserve Bank of India has announced the exam date for Assistant exam. The national-level exam is scheduled for April 11 to shortlist eligible candidates for 650 vacancies. RBI Assistant Exam Pattern 2026

Understanding the RBI Assistant exam pattern is necessary to get familiar with the scheme of the question paper. The exam pattern differs for Prelims and Mains. 

RBI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern

• RBI Assistant Prelims Exam is divided into three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.

• A total of 100 questions are asked in the exam, carrying 100 marks overall.

• The total duration of the prelims exam is 60 minutes, with a separate time limit for each section.

RBI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern

• RBI Assistant Mains includes five sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge, and General Awareness.

• A total of 200 questions are asked for 200 marks, making each question carry 1 mark.
