NABARD Development Assistant Exam Date 2026

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has announced 162 vacancies for the post of Development Assistant/ Development Assistant (Hindi). The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the prelims, mains, and Language Proficiency Test. Recently, the authorities have released the admit card for the prelims exam scheduled for February 21, 2026. The officials have also published the information handout that contains the exam pattern, sample questions, and NABARD Development Assistant exam day guidelines. Candidates should read the exam day instructions to maintain decorum and avoid any interruptions. NABARD Development Assistant Shift Timing

There is no official update about the NABARD Development Assistant shift timing. The overall duration for the NABARD Prelims Exam will be 60 minutes. There shall be sectional timing in the exam. The exam duration for each section will be 20 minutes. Candidates should check the official website for more information about the NABARD Development Assistant shift timing.

NABARD Development Assistant Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates should understand the NABARD DA exam day guidelines before appearing in the test. It helps them maintain discipline and complete all the formalities on time. Let’s discuss the NABARD Development Assistant for reference purposes:

  • The reporting time and venue address of the examination are mentioned in the call letter. Candidates reporting late will not be allowed to take the exam.

  • The reporting time mentioned on the call letter is prior to the start time of the test. Candidates must reach the venue at least 4 hours before the exam time. This helps them finish various formalities such as verification, logging in, etc. 

  • Candidates are advised to visit the exam venue one day before the exam to confirm the location. This lets them report on time on the exam day. Latecomers will not be permitted.

  • They should bring an admit card and a recent passport-size photograph duly pasted on it to the test centre.

  • Use of calculators (separate or with a watch), books, notebooks or written notes, cell phones (with or without camera facility), or any other electronic device is strictly prohibited.

  • Bring a valid Photo ID proof in original and a photocopy of the same ID proof. This includes PAN Card/Passport/Driving License/Voter’s Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with photograph/Photo Identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead /Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead/Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognised College/ University/Aadhaar/ E-Aadhaar Card with a photograph/Employee ID/Bar Council Identity card with photograph. Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will not be accepted as valid ID proof for this exam.

  • You should carry your ball-point pen. A sheet of paper will be given for rough work or taking down the question number you would like to check at the end of the test, before submitting your response. After the test is over, you must handover this sheet of paper, the call Letter and a photocopy of your photo ID proof to the invigilator.

  • Test-takers cannot leave the exam hall without the permission of the Supervisor/Invigilator.

  • Test-takers must handover the rough sheets, call letter, ID proof copy to the Invigilator.

NABARD Development Assistant Exam Pattern 

Candidates should check the NABARD DA exam pattern to understand the exam requirements. It helps them avoid last-minute surprises. The prelims exam will be qualifying in nature. It serves as a screening test. Only those aspirants who score high in both individual tests & in aggregate shall be shortlisted for the main exam.  There shall be a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every wrong answer.
